What If Your Car Has Mostly Liabilities?
Don't pretend in your ad that it's a cream puff if it isn't. Rather, sell it for what it is: basic transportation, a fixer-upper, or a great source
of parts. Great first car for student, runs good, needs body work. Assuming you've priced it right, you'd be surprised at how maw. people will be attracted to the car.

The rule, then; is accent the positive-the assets-don't lie about the negatives. This is not to say that you need to disclose all the problems. If it's got some dings and dents and the interior has some stains. that doesn't have to be in the ad.

.

Writing Ads That Sell
One of the primary goals of an ad is to attract the right prospects. For that reason, in addition to hyping your car, you'll want to be specific enough so that the reader will know if the car is what he or she is looking for and if the price is within their range. So be specific.
Equally important, your ad should arouse interest. To do that you need to select at least one strong feature and surround it with selling words. Generally, an ad should start with the make, year and model, color, the number of doors, and any other information that will help specifically identify the car for the reader.Don't overabbreviate-people won't understand what you're saying, and if it's too hard to read they will just skip over it. At the same time don't under abbreviate. A sure sign of a green seller is someone who spells out everything. This will not only cost you more, but sends the wrong signals to knowledgeable used-car buyers.
