Of course, if the mechanic tells you that it's going to cost you more to fiY the car than the car is worth, you can burn the evaluation sheet and let the car speak for itself. Remember, even a car that looks to be just one left turn from a junkyard will be of interest to someone.

Note: Below we have included a form for the Professional Mechanic's Evaluation. On the following page you'll find a "Personal Inventory Evaluation" form. This form was designed to let you look at your car on paper and to give you an opportunity to weigh its assets against its liabilities.
