Different Buying Services
In order to provide you with a better understanding of how
car-buying services work with their customers, we selected
six national car-buying services and interviewed the president
or a top executive of each. In what follows you will read
the results of those interviews. Our intent is not to endorse
any of these services or even to recommend this method of
car buying. We present this information as it was presented
to us so that you can make your own evaluations. It's our
hope that the information we've gathered from these organizations
will prove of value should you decide to explore these or
any of the many car-buying services that exist today.

How
Does Your Service Work? "Our service is personalized.
The major difference between us and other car-buying services
is that when we get a price or a quote from a dealership,
we don't just send our clients to the dealer. When someone
calls us wanting to buy a particular car, we discuss all the
options with the customer until we understand exactly what
they want. We locate that car in their area and negotiate
the lowest price with a dealer. Then we present the purchase
options to the customers in terms of what's available and,
if the customer approves, proceed to set up the deal through
a local dealer in the customer's area.
